I bought this necklace on my shopping trip with Pearl with a plan to take it to London Fashion Week, but of course I couldn't not wear it till then! We spent a lot of time exploring the amazing Afflecks in Manchester, which is basically four floors of amazing alternative fashion, craft and general cuteness. The first time I ever went in I felt a bit overwhelmed and didn't get round many of its stalls. I did find one amazing one and yet missed it on further fun ventures, so as I was a determined bunny this time I described it to Pearl and *ta-da* we found it!
The store is called Thunder Egg and as well as lovely clothing they have a fair bit of Hello Kitty sweetness, Japanese goodies and delightful jewellery. This Punky Pins necklace caught my eye in a shiny display of pink, white and silver. The plastic is so satisfyingly oversized and chunky and just generally kawaii! I got it at a great sale price too.
